XMAS is coming – whether you like it or notAfter the summer break, we’re now plunging straight into preparations for Christmas. For our customers too, it’s all about typical German gingerbread, chocolate, and cinnamon-flavored stars; after all, everyone wants to make their staff and customers happy, and that needs good planning.
The summer vacation has barely come to an end, but, like others, we’ve already embarked on preparations for our first Christmas campaigns. These find us sitting in the office in outdoor temperatures of 80 degrees or more, with the sun shining and blue skies overhead, coming up with the first proposals for advent calendars, chocolate Santas, and gingerbread. Hard to imagine, for sure, but this is the norm for us – after all, it’ll take some time for the final product to be decided on and produced, and we aren’t the only ones wanting to do Christmassy things. Which is why we swear by the motto that says it’s better to start early than lose out later.
Christmas comes quickly every year. It’s the Key Account Managers in particular who have the overview of the most important customer dates and can prepare projects accordingly. They consult with the customer on proposals and layouts and work out solutions with them until, finally, the first delicious, sweet treats arrive for sampling.
The Christmas products will ship in early November, so you’ll soon be able to eat your first festive chocolate and enjoy a hot glass of mulled wine together. But we don’t want to talk too much about Christmas; for now, let’s just enjoy the warm summer sun …
