CSA Talkinar No. 2

Time for the next round! At 13:11 on Wednesday, 24 August, we will be guests of Boris Kompara and Steffen Gros. The location is a highlight in itself: a flight simulator with an original cockpit and realistic motion.

A flight simulator? You read that right, but let's start from the beginning: Boris Kompara and Steffen Gros are commercial pilots. Thanks to their flying activities they have gained a wealth of experience in stress management and structured decision-making under stress, as well as crisis intervention and its final analysis and risk assessment. Through their studies they are also no strangers to personnel management, management consultancy and management strategies.

The qualitative interaction between these fields led Steffen Gros to work in strategic risk management relating to the A380. Through his role as Crew Resource Management Trainer he expanded his trainer skills with valuable human factor expertise in everyday flying. The result of this has been targeted training for cockpit and cabin crews as well as management teams.

Boris Kompara has in-depth knowledge in the field of flight safety in terms of risk assessment, safety management and process-oriented stress management.

Their coaching activities make targeted use of the analysis of significant aviation incidents and their practical application in the form of solution strategies. The noteworthy focus here enables managers and their teams, especially from other professions, to successfully incorporate this into the corporate or team culture.

In the original cockpit of an Airbus A320 we will learn more about these fascinating topics that affect pretty much everyone. Just as in the real aircraft, we will experience the flight up close and personal.  We're looking forward to it!
